British High Commission in Sri Lanka moved in to its new premises recently. This is a project by Richard Murphy Architects in association with local architects Milroy Perera Associates. Photographs by Waruna Gomis
Nice stuff, Richard Murphy did a presentation to us at Uni, and he told me that was quite amused that after he mastered the word "bauddaloka" the locals kept calling it Bullers road :)
Lucky it was on 'Bauddhaloka Mawatha'. Imagine having to do it on 'Aacharya Lester James Peiris Mawatha' and suddenly a local come up and saying "hei what you have done on Dickmans Road is nice".
